Twitter (now X) is one of the best platforms for your marketing efforts. Over 335 million users visit it monthly. So, it’s a great venue for finding the right audience for your business or individual projects.

However, with so many accounts and brands promoting themselves here, it might be hard to stand out. You have to put more effort into getting more engagement here.

How can you achieve that? We are ready to answer this question today, so keep reading!

Why High X Engagement Matters?

Source

X is a top platform for businesses and individuals who want to share ideas and connect with audiences. Engagement is one of the key metrics that measure success here. As Neil Patel said,

In the world of social media marketing, engagement is the new currency.

It’s not only an indicator. It acts as a powerful lead generation tool for growth and influence.

So, here are a few reasons why high engagement on X is so important.

Higher Reach

The algorithm behind X prioritizes content with higher engagement. The platform recognizes your posts as valuable when people interact with them. Then it promotes them to a wider audience through recommendations and trending sections.

This boost in reach can exponentially increase your visibility. It can help you expand your influence beyond the immediate followers.

And when these posts are also showcased on a Twitter Wall—whether at an event or on your website—it further encourages participation, helping you expand your influence beyond immediate followers.

Trust and Credibility

This metric is also a sign of credibility. When users actively interact with your content, it shows that your posts are relatable.

This helps you build trusting connections with your audience. It positions you or your brand as an authoritative voice in your niche.

Many brands also run their posts through a grammar checker before publishing to maintain professionalism and avoid small mistakes that could harm their credibility.

Also, direct interactions with users like replying to comments or participating in discussions strengthen this relationship. So, you get to create a loyal community around your brand.

Driving Conversions

Engagement on X often correlates with higher conversion rates. Tweets with substantial interaction can

  • Drive traffic to websites;
  • Increase sign-ups;
  • Boost sales.

A good CTA in a highly engaged tweet can lead your followers to take desired actions.

To turn this interaction into actionable revenue, many teams rely on sales engagement software to automate follow-ups, track prospect behavior, and optimize every step of the conversion funnel.

For instance, showcasing how your products or services attract ecommerce sellers can be a game-changer, encouraging them to explore your offerings. So, it’s an important component of any marketing strategy.

An organic marketing agency can help businesses craft compelling CTAs that feel natural and authentic rather than overly promotional, ensuring higher engagement rates and better conversion potential.

These agencies specialize in creating content strategies that build genuine relationships with audiences, making followers more likely to respond positively to calls-to-action because they trust the brand’s expertise and value.

Unlike paid advertising approaches, organic marketing focuses on nurturing long-term customer relationships through valuable content, which means that when followers do click on CTAs, they’re often more qualified leads with higher lifetime value.

Real-Time Feedback

The pace on X is pretty fast. This makes it an excellent platform for gathering feedback live.

High engagement often results in diverse opinions and constructive criticism. You can use this feedback to align your offerings and handle different customer concerns.

To maximise campaign impact from that feedback, many brands collaborate with a google ads agency to convert engagement into measurable ad performance.

How to Increase Engagement on Twitter (X)?

You already know that X is a great place for building connections, and engagement is really important here. For data-driven optimization, partner with an AI SEO agency.

Partnering with an ecommerce SEO agency can help you strengthen your online image and optimize your conversion rates.

Now, you probably want to know how to achieve this high level of engagement. So, we gathered some strategies you might use.

For data-driven optimization, partner with an AI SEO agency that can start with a comprehensive SEO audit to identify gaps, opportunities, and performance issues in your current strategy.

Collaborating with experienced SEO agencies can also help boost your visibility and attract the right audience. For instance, integrating local seo outsourcing into your strategy can further refine your content approach and enhance user interaction.

Additionally, working with a trusted SEO Reseller allows you to scale these efforts under your own brand, LoomLinker offering expert-level SEO solutions without the need to build everything in-house.

You can also consider partnering with an agency like MarketingHost, which specializes in scalable, white-label SEO services designed to grow your business efficiently and cost-effectively. To further enhance your backlink profile, integrating professional White-Hat Link Building Services ensures your site gains authoritative and compliant backlinks that sustainably boost your SEO rankings.

Optimize Your Profile

Your profile is often the first impression users have of you. So, you should put some effort into optimizing it.

If you’re looking to enhance your social media strategy but lack the in-house expertise, collaborating with a marketing staffing agency can be a game-changer. These agencies specialize in connecting businesses with skilled professionals who understand platforms like X and can develop tailored strategies to boost engagement, drive conversions, and grow your audience effectively. Outsourcing this aspect ensures your brand remains competitive while saving time and resources.

Source

Start with your profile picture. It should be a clear and professional image that reflects your brand. The best option for businesses is to use a logo, which you can easily create with a logo maker. Try to avoid overly busy or pixelated pics.

The evolution of logo creation technology has democratized professional branding, with platforms like Zoviz enabling businesses to generate polished, scalable logos in minutes rather than spending thousands on traditional design agencies or struggling with generic templates that lack originality.

What makes services like Zoviz particularly valuable for startups and small businesses is their ability to produce multiple logo variations quickly, allowing entrepreneurs to test different visual identities across their social media profiles and marketing materials before committing to a final design.

Then write a concise bio that highlights

  • Who you are;
  • What you do;
  • The value you offer.

Include relevant keywords to make it easier for people to find you through searches.

Add a link to your website or a specific landing page. If needed, consider working with UX designers that can help refine your landing page experience and improve user engagement.

Use tracking links to monitor the traffic coming from X and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Finally, pick a tweet you want to pin.

Source

It can be a popular post or an ongoing campaign. This keeps your most important message at the top. You can easily update it when necessary.

Find a Perfect Time for Posting

Timing is essential on X. It determines how many users see and interact with your content. So, it’s important to find a time when your audience is most active.

You can use X’s built-in analytics or third-party tools to identify peak times when your followers are online. This data can change depending on time zones and demographics.

Source

Test posting at different times of the day and week to see what works best for you. Compare the engagement metrics to evaluate the results.

Stick to a consistent posting schedule after you find the most optimal times. You can use scheduling tools to automate posts and guarantee you never miss these time slots.

Include Interactive Content

Next, we recommend you use interactive content to make your account more dynamic. It allows people to engage directly with your content.

You can create polls to ask for

  • Opinions;
  • Preferences;
  • Feedback, etc.

Polls are quick and easy for users to respond to. For example, you can ask them to pick between two product features or share their favorite trends.

Also, you can ask thought-provoking or fun questions. They will encourage your public to share their thoughts or experiences. Adjust your questions to your niche to make the interaction more meaningful.

Plus, you may organize contests where people have to engage with your content to participate. Ensure the prize is relevant to them to attract genuine interest.

Focus on Visuals

Visual content is extremely important today. People prefer appealing visuals to text.

Use bright, well-composed images that align with your messaging. For example, you can post behind-the-scenes photos or UGC to humanize your brand.

Encouraging user-generated content allows brands to showcase real experiences that feel more authentic than polished marketing visuals. When audiences see user-generated content from people like themselves, trust and engagement tend to increase naturally.

This type of user-generated content also helps create a sense of community by making customers feel seen and involved. Over time, consistently featuring user-generated content can strengthen brand loyalty while keeping your visual strategy fresh and relatable.

Also, incorporate short videos or GIFs. They convey your message more effectively and increase retention. Use captions or subtitles to make them accessible to people who watch without sound.

Professional captioning agency services ensure your video content remains accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences while simultaneously boosting engagement among the 85% of Facebook users and 80% of LinkedIn users who watch videos with sound off, making captions essential rather than optional for maximizing reach.

Quality captions go beyond simple transcription to include speaker identification, sound effect descriptions, and proper timing synchronization that maintains narrative flow—elements that automated captioning tools frequently miss, resulting in embarrassing errors that damage brand credibility when “”we’re here to serve you”” becomes “”we’re here to surf you”” due to misheard audio.

Captions also provide unexpected SEO benefits as search engines can crawl and index caption text, making your video content discoverable through text-based searches that would never surface video-only content, essentially turning every captioned video into searchable, rankable content that drives organic traffic.

You can also leverage a free text to speech converter to turn your written content into engaging audio, making your messages accessible to audiences on the go. Interactive visual elements like polls, quizzes, and clickable stories create two-way engagement that transforms passive viewers into active participants, significantly boosting your content’s algorithmic reach across social platforms.

The strategic use of consistent visual branding—including color schemes, fonts, and graphic styles—helps audiences instantly recognize your content in crowded feeds, building brand recall even when they’re scrolling quickly past hundreds of posts.

Source

Add your logo, colors, or other brand elements to your visuals to make them more recognizable. Consider using templates to make the account more consistent.

Besides, to maximize the impact of your visuals and extend their reach beyond the platform, apply image SEO techniques (such as using descriptive file names, relevant alt text, and proper image sizing). These practices improve discoverability in search, enhance accessibility, and reinforce your brand presence on X.

PageDart’s practical SEO tips cover these exact image-optimization essentials in a clear, beginner-friendly way.

Thoughtfully incorporated visual storytelling elements create cognitive anchors that dramatically increase content recall, with research showing branded visual content generates up to 65% higher engagement than text-only posts.

Strategic implementation of visual hierarchy through consistent typography, color psychology principles, and compositional techniques guides viewer attention precisely where needed, maximizing limited attention spans in crowded social feeds.

Use Trending Hashtags

Hashtags help you reach a broader audience. So, it’s important to include trending tags in your posts.

You can find them in the X’s “Trending” section. Also, you can use external tools like Twilert. You can filter the tweets by tags and users to find what other accounts in your niche are posting.

It will send you a list of posts to your email every week at the time you define.

Make sure that the tags you select align with your content and audience. Irrelevant ones can confuse your followers and may even appear spammy.

Also, don’t overload your posts with tags. It will help you maintain readability and professionalism.

Employ X Advertising

Source

You can use the paid advertising available on X as well. It can help you reach a larger audience and increase engagement.

Try boosting specific tweets to reach users outside your follower base. Customize these ads for specific demographics or interests for better results. Use persuasive text and visuals to attract attention.

Plus, we suggest you focus more on trending topics to showcase your brand or campaign to a massive audience. Combine this with organic content for maximum impact.

Cooperate with Influencers

Another practice to improve engagement is collaborations with influencers. How do you pick the right ones for you?

Look for people whose audience aligns with your target demographic. Evaluate their profiles and content style to ensure a good fit.

Next, start interacting with their content before you reach out to them. You can establish a connection by

  • Commenting and liking;
  • Sharing their posts;
  • Direct messaging.

Then, work together on campaigns or sponsored posts. They should highlight your brand while providing value to their followers. Discuss all the deliverables and expectations beforehand.

Host Spaces on X

The last thing we want to mention is X’s functionality “Spaces”. It allows you to interact with your public live.

You can host discussions on topics that match their interests and showcase your expertise. This positions you as a thought leader in your niche.

Also, you can co-host Spaces with other creators. Their presence can attract their followers.

Make sure to interact with listeners by inviting them to speak or answering their questions.

For clearer audio during Spaces, use a quiet room, a decent mic, and noise-cancelling headphones to reduce background distractions for hosts and speakers.

Active engagement makes the experience more personal and memorable.

Measuring Engagement on X

It’s obvious that engagement is a critical metric for evaluating the success of your content strategy on X. It reflects how well your followers interact with your tweets and overall account.

Now, let’s talk about how to measure it.

First, you need to understand which metrics to concentrate on. In the table below we gathered the main ones.

MetricIndication
Likes Users who appreciated your post
Replies Conversations around your post
Reposts (formerly Retweets)How often people share your post with their followers
Quotes Users who shared your post with additional commentary
Profile VisitsNumber of times users visited your profile after seeing your content
Follows Number of followers your post generated
Clicks Link clicks, hashtag clicks, and media views

You can use a specific formula to understand the engagement rate better – (Total Engagements / Total Impressions) × 100.

Also, you can use X’s analytics we mentioned before to measure this aspect. It has an Activity Dashboard that gives you all the details on impressions of individual posts. Plus, it offers an overview of your entire account performance.

You may try using various social media analytics tools for that purpose as well. Remember, that no matter which method you choose, measuring engagement is an ongoing effort. You have to do it regularly to identify patterns and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Conclusion

A high engagement rate on X is important to reach a wider audience and make yourself visible. The competition on this platform is intense, so it’s not as easy to achieve it.

However, by following some of the tips we mentioned you can get better results. Optimize your profile, find a perfect posting time, and use quality content in your posts. Make sure to follow the trends and use X’s inbuilt functionalities to appeal to your public.

Hope that you found something useful in our guide!

Imagine understanding your customers’ values, interests, and motivations—insight that would make crafting targeted messages and managing brand reputation much easier. While mind-reading isn’t possible, social listening tools offer a close alternative by tracking and analyzing social media conversations about your brand or topics of interest. These tools help monitor online discussions, providing data that can inform key marketing decisions.

However, the quality of insights depends heavily on the tools you use. Here are the top social listening tools to consider for gaining valuable audience insights.

What Is Social Media Monitoring?

Social media monitoring, often called social listening, entails tracking and evaluating online discussions that mention your brand. For example, if someone talks about your company on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or X (formerly Twitter), these interactions can reveal valuable insights into how your brand is perceived, through both posts and user comments.

Keeping track of all these online conversations can feel overwhelming. Even with advanced social listening tools, engaging directly with your audience is crucial for building relationships and enhancing brand loyalty. Manually reviewing every conversation across platforms would require a large team working constantly—a task most businesses simply cannot manage. Social media monitoring tools streamline this process, capturing and analyzing the relevant conversations to provide actionable insights for your brand.

To maximize social listening, detailed social listening reports are key, helping track trends, assess sentiment, and understand brand perception. For more, see this guide on generating effective reports.

What is a Social Listening Tool?

A social listening tool functions similarly to a search engine. Just as search engines deploy crawlers to scan the web for content related to specific terms, social listening tools monitor social media platforms to gather mentions of your brand or relevant topics. This information is then collected and organized, enabling your marketing team to respond to inquiries, address feedback, and conduct thorough social media analysis.

Social listening tools track conversations, brand mentions, and trends across platforms, providing valuable insights for marketers. For more, see this detailed overview of social listening.

The Importance of Social Listening

Social listening and monitoring are crucial for any brand. While customer reviews and data reveal useful insights into your audience, they often don’t provide the full picture.

Key benefits of social listening include:

Enhances Customer Support

When customers are dissatisfied or have questions, they often reach out on social media rather than through email or the brand’s website. In these situations, it’s crucial for brands to notice and respond promptly. Ignoring social media inquiries—intentionally or accidentally—can leave customers feeling overlooked. A timely response, on the other hand, makes customers feel valued and heard, strengthening their connection to the brand.

Measures Brand Awareness

Building brand awareness starts with understanding current perceptions. Social listening tools provide data on where discussions about your brand are happening and highlight areas that may need more attention. For example, if customers are actively discussing your brand on Instagram but not on X, this insight can guide your strategy to increase engagement where it’s lacking, ensuring a broader and more balanced audience reach.

Monitors Brand Reputation

Monitoring social media not only shows where and how often your brand is mentioned but also provides insights into the overall sentiment surrounding it. Customers frequently express their feelings—whether they are happy, upset, curious, or confused—through social platforms. According to statistics, 73% of consumers read comments on social media ads to evaluate a brand’s reputation, and one in three users has encountered negative feedback on a brand’s social media pages.

Developing a strong social listening strategy enables brands to engage effectively with their audience, respond to feedback, and adapt to shifting market trends—making it essential for businesses looking to hire full stack developers who can build responsive, user-driven solutions.

For instance, a healthcare mobile development company can leverage big data analytics to optimize mobile health apps, ensuring they meet patient needs and preferences. The transformational power of comprehensive social monitoring extends far beyond basic metrics, revealing critical patterns in consumer behavior that savvy brands use to get ahead of competitors.

Market leaders don’t just track mentions—they analyze the contextual factors behind conversations, identifying precise triggers that prompt customers to share experiences publicly. Real-time monitoring has become particularly crucial during product launches and campaigns, where brands can pivot messaging within hours based on initial reception rather than waiting for traditional analytics to catch up.

A comprehensive approach can strengthen customer relationships and foster brand loyalty. Learn more about creating a successful social listening strategy.

Given the importance of monitoring online sentiment, let’s explore affordable options. Many social listening tools on the market can help you track and understand these conversations, allowing you to find the best fit for your brand’s needs.

And just like brands monitor online behavior to understand public sentiment, individuals sometimes use tools such as a cheater scanner to identify unusual activity in personal contexts.

10 Years ago, I was at a conference for internet marketing. This was when Twitter was in its infancy and frankly, it was really hard to use.

I met one of the premier marketers at the time. Throughout our discussion, Twitter Search App options kept coming up.

He told me that there was ONE thing that I should be watching over the next 10 years with regard to social media.

It’s 2025 now, and it turns out that what he said was EXACTLY on point.

But we’ll get to that in a bit.

Understanding What a Twitter Search App Does

Throughout the evolution of Twitter, thousands of apps have come and gone. Every single feature has been pulled out, optimized, and attempted to turn into an application.

Thanks to Twitter’s API, this was really easy. Due to the nature of search, and the mathematical difficulties with optimal search tooling, it was hard to find an app that could actually search better than Twitter’s default options.

However, since then there are applications that are specifically designed to make searching Twitter much easier, more efficient, and automated vs. Twitter’s core option.

Searching Twitter without an App

There are basically two wasy to Search twitter without using a 3rd party app. You can use twitter’s default search options, or the Advanced search

Default Twitter Search

Default search is performed on Twitter by just using the search bar. We won’t belabor what a search bar is or how it works, but for the sake of this article we will cover how it relates to Twitter.

The default search in Twitter will allow you to search manually one search a time. After you search, you will be given a screen with mixed results of hashtags, people, news, and other categories.

You will then be able to drill down

Advanced Twitter Search

The advanced search functionality lets you specify a lot more criteria for your Twitter search term. You can search by user, search by mention, search hashtags, or even add geolocation.

This is much more accurate and useful than the default search. You will have to manually do this search every time you want to check for updates or get fresh results.

The problem with both of Twitter’s search options are that it requires you to go through a series of multiple steps, sift through multiple pages, and re-submit your search manually every single time.

We believe Twitter likes to increase page count, and provide more opportunity to see ad-friendly content by making you jump through hoops to use the searches.

It also may be intensive on their APIs and technical infrastructure, so discouraging users from pinging the search servers may also be a reason.

Using a Twitter Search App to Automate Your Searches

So, you don’t want to manually search Twitter to find your leads, get content ideas, stay on top of your brand’s perception, or manage other social media business processes.

If that is the case, then you will likely be researching various twitter search app options to build out a more efficient toolset.

List of Twitter Search Apps

  1. Twilert;
  2. TweetCaster;
  3. SnapBird;
  4. TweetScan;
  5. BackTweets;
  6. Twitter Spectrum;
  7. Twopular;
  8. TweepSearch;
  9. TweetMeme;
  10. Twit Scoop.

The Best Twitter Search App

Admittedly, we are 100% biased. Our Twilert Twitter Search App has been providing automated twitter search and monitoring services for over 10 years. We’ve helped tens of thousands of businesses.

We do believe we are the most robust, reliable, and consistent Twitter search app on the market.

There are quite a few apps out there and they all have their own set of bells & whistles. What we’ve seen is that a lot of twitter applications end up expanding their features beyond Twitter, and subsequently lose their vision over time.

This results in the quality of the service and reliability reducing over time.

Twilert allows you to

  • Create custom search criteria;
  • Run searches 24/7 with 99.99% uptime;
  • Get email alerts when new results match your criteria;
  • Easy query builder;
  • Actionable results – like, reply, or take action on the alert responses;
  • Cost-effective.

Using a Twitter Search App to Automate Your Searches

We’ve explored a few of your options for applications that can help make your ongoing twitter queries more efficient. If you’re working in any professional capacity, you need to explore these toolsets.

The businesses, nowadays, cannot survive if they aren’t using the best social media monitoring tools.

I mean it’s quite easy to take a look at your customers’ posts/tweets if they’ve tagged you. But if you want to monitor the entire social media, you’d have to use a social monitoring tool.

These tools are particularly designed to help you with finding relevant conversations on social media. In fact, you can also track the performance of multiple social media profiles with these tools.

The availability of tons of tools may make it difficult for you to choose the right one. Therefore, we’ve designed this post to help you with making a wise decision.

Best Social Media Monitoring Tools

The purpose of writing this post is to share information about the best Social Monitoring tools that can accommodate your needs in different ways. So, let’s jump right into it.

Some teams use a social media trading platform alongside these tools to assess Instagram accounts for growth and engagement trends.

Buffer Reply

Buffer Reply is the perfect solution for a range of social media platforms. It offers a user-friendly dashboard that can be used to interact with customers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It enables you to provide a personalized response to each customer.

The prominent feature of this monitoring tool is that it gives you the opportunity to use emojis and GIFs within your replies. The basic package starts at $50/mo and it’s perfectly suitable for small businesses. But if you’re targeting customers at a larger scale, you must choose a bigger plan. The master plan comes at a cost of $250. And it’s ready to offer plenty of amazing features.

Hootsuite

Without any doubt, Hootsuite is one of the best Social Media Monitoring tools leading the industry for a long time. If you’ve already subscribed to one of their plans, you can easily enjoy this feature. Hootsuite enables you to monitor your mentions, specific hashtags, keywords, and locations.

Moreover, Hootsuite is not just limited to social media. It keeps an eye on other blogs and forums to keep you updated about what’s being discussed on other platforms, something that data-driven teams using tools like dbt Cloud can greatly benefit from when aligning marketing strategies with analytics insights. The basic plan comes at a price of $19 but it offers some limited features. We recommend using a free trial before you consider buying a package.

Sprout Social

Sprout Social is also an amazing name in the league of best social media monitoring tools. It’s somehow similar to Hootsuite as it allows you to engage with your customers in real-time. All the social media mentions and messages are displayed on the Smart Inbox. You can also search for different keywords and hashtags manually by accessing the discovery feature.

This tool is currently targeting Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The basic plan is available at $99 but it’s really worth it.

AgoraPulse

When you search for the best social media monitoring tools, AgoraPulse appears on top of the list. This tool gives you the freedom to schedule different posts while monitoring mentions on social media. You can use the listening feature of this tool to find certain keywords and URLs. The best thing about this tool is that it keeps you updated about the comments on your Instagram and Facebook ads.

So, you’re ready to enjoy the magic of BackTweets?

But wait a second? Are you aware of the wonders Back Tweets can do for you? Well, you might have heard some crazy things about this tool. But there are tons of other things you need to know before you start using this tool. The brief introduction of this tool is that it is designed to build a highly effective marketing campaign on Twitter based on several Keywords.

This tool has quite an impressive history. We know history is quite boring for people but we won’t make it boring here. So, the tool was released by a company called BackType in 2009. And it got really popular among businesses. But the company shut down its services in 2011 because it was purchased by Twitter. However, the site went for auction in 2012 and was purchased by Sorezki Ltd.

It’s also worth knowing that it was a premium tool when it was initially launched by BackType. But Sorezki Ltd. launched it for free and it received plenty of appreciation. BackTweets is still available for Free and you can use it to set your marketing campaign accordingly.

How BackTweets can help you?

We hope history wasn’t so boring. But if you found it boring, we beg your pardon because it was important to share the history of this tool before we could move further. Now, let’s dive into the details of how you can use Backtweets to build your marketing campaign.

Finding the Number of Links

There are some search operators that marketers usually use to get an overview of how many times a link was mentioned in the tweets. And then they spend a lot of time observing these tweets to see how efficiently the link is used in the tweets.

It’s a time taking task and it sometimes doesn’t show the exact number of links used in the tweets. The beauty of BackTweets.com is that it provides a detailed analysis report of how many times a link was used in the tweets and how effectively it worked. And the interesting part is that the results are generated within a few seconds. It means you can save a lot of time with BackTweets.

Monitor Mentions

Now, here comes the interesting part of the story. Backtweets.com has now started providing details for mentions as well. So, if you want to monitor your performance or your competitor’s performance on Twitter, you can use this feature to get an idea. With this feature, you can explore all the tweets where a specific account is mentioned. Thus, you can respond to all the messages more efficiently.

Monitoring Hashtags and Queries

The Twitter campaigns become far more effective when you have complete data about different hashtags and queries. And that’s what you can enjoy with Back Tweets. You can now find effective hashtags that can bring more power to your marketing campaign.

The reason why Backtweets is highly recommended for users is that it’s available for free. You should also start using this tool to keep an eye on Twitter analytics if you have a tight budget.

A strong analytics tool is a must for anyone who works with social media. TweetReach by Union Metrics has been quite popular for its powerful capabilities. Recently it transitioned to Brandwatch. So, it offers even more exciting possibilities, as this platform is an official X partner.

It’s a great instrument for monitoring people’s opinions about your brand on X. It can help you understand your customers better. We will tell you about the main features of TweetReach and its current alternatives.

So, stay tuned!

Key Features of TweetReach

TweetReach appeared in 2009 as a free tool for marketers. Later on, they offered a Pro version to generate even more accurate insights. In 2016 they joined Union Metrics which opened up even better possibilities for Twitter (now X) analysis.

Recently, this tool shut down and transferred to Listen by Brandwatch. We will tell you more about its benefits later.

Now, let us explain the functionality of TweetReach.

Reach Measurement

TweetReach measured the total reach of posts. It could show you how many unique accounts have potentially seen the tweet.

Additionally, it offered the total impressions calculator feature. It’s the total number of times your post appeared in the timeline, including the views from the same account.

Engagement Analytics

This tool also provided details on the engagement your posts received. It included metrics, like

  • Retweets;
  • Likes;
  • Replies;
  • Mentions.

This kind of feature is valuable as it allows you to understand what your audience prefers to see.

Top Contributors and Influencers

TweetReach identified the most influential users who interacted with your tweets or shared them.

It gave the possibility for networking with these people or organizations. As we all know, mentions from influencers lead to higher visibility.

Hashtag Tracking

This tool had a hashtag analysis function as well. You could see how the audience reacted to a particular tag. It is useful for monitoring conversations and campaigns related to your brand. This gives you an opportunity to participate in trending discussions.

Historical Data and Live Monitoring

Also, TweetReach could give you access to current posts and past ones. It had a date range filter, where you could choose the timeframe for the tweets you want to see.

Past data is useful for analyzing the effectiveness of certain campaigns. Live monitoring helps you to track mentions and evaluate reactions.

New Possibilities by Listen

You already know about the TweetReach main functionality. Now, let’s talk about the changes that happened when transitioning to Listen by Brandwatch.

As we’ve noted above, this platform is an official partner of X. It has access to all the data on Twitter, including current posts and past publications. So, it can become an ideal instrument for analyzing your audience and performance.

What can it offer you?

Advanced Filters for Queries

To start your analysis on Listen, you’ll have to create queries that match the specific content you need. These search strings will capture the relevant mentions of phrases and hashtags. This tool allows you to filter them based on

  • Language;
  • Location;
  • Sentiment, etc.

It has over 48 boolean operators that allow you to specify your search even more. Plus, the number of searches you can make is unlimited.

Live Mention Monitoring

It allows you to monitor mentions as they happen. You can see what people say about your brand, competitors, or any trending topics. It can be really useful during events or new launches.

All you have to do is set up alerts for a specific topic or word. Listen has a smart AI assistant that recognizes spikes and drops in mentions and notifies you about it. You’ll see all these results on a dashboard. Pretty convenient, right?

Sentiment Analysis

Another powerful feature is sentiment analysis. It can help you catch the emotional tone of discussions around your products or campaigns on X.

This tool analyzes the context of a tweet and categorizes it as

  • Positive;
  • Neutral;
  • Negative.

By monitoring this sentiment for some time, you can see how the public perceives certain initiatives. If you see any negative reactions early, you can handle them before they turn into a PR crisis.

Influencer Identification

This instrument will help you find influencers discussing your brand on Twitter. You can evaluate the following metrics:

  • Follower count;
  • Engagement levels;
  • Frequency of mentions, etc.

It allows you to recognize which users have more impact and can strengthen your strategy. You can find new opportunities for partnerships that way.

Integration with Engage

You can combine Listen with another solution by Brandwatch – Engage. It allows you to gather all your X messages and mentions in one inbox. You can customize it with different filters and labels. That way nothing goes unnoticed.

TweetReach Alternatives

We can all agree that proper Twitter (X) analysis is important to understand how your posts perform. You need to know how the audience perceives your creations. TweetReach was a great free option. However, as it’s no longer available, we want to suggest other alternatives.

Twilert

Our last suggestion is Twilert. This tool allows you to find all the tweets on X based on certain criteria.

You can filter them by words. For example, you can request the exact phrase or hashtag. Also, you can exclude certain terms.

You can sort posts by users, choosing

  • from:user;
  • to:user;
  • mentioning @user.

Plus, it has a location filter and the possibility to analyze the tone of posts.

A great thing about Twilert is that it saves all the results in your account and sends them to an email as well. You have to choose how often you want to get the report and set the exact time. Also, you can decide on the format.

Fedica

Our first recommendation is Fedica. It offers different instruments for managing X.

First, it offers a Followers Map that allows you to visualize your audience distribution.

It helps you identify trending topics in cities where you have a large follower base. So, you can decide which content will perform best for local audiences. Plus, you can improve your promotion efforts by seeing where engagement is the highest.

Also, it has a Hashtag & Keyword Analyzer. You can understand which tags and terms work better and reach a wider audience.

This tool allows you to track which topics and tags are trending globally. Plus, you can analyze your competitors. Evaluate their strong and weak points to adjust your own strategy.

Fedica offers a Post Reach tool as well. It lets you measure the impact of separate tweets or groups of posts.

It gives you details about

  • Reach;
  • Demographics;
  • Key influencers interacting with your content;
  • The most engaged regions, etc.

TweetBinder

TweetBinder is a great alternative for hashtag tracking and evaluation. The free version allows you to see up to 200 posts from the past 7 days.

Paid features allow you to get even more info. For instance, you can monitor how your tag is performing live or you can evaluate its effectiveness in the past campaign.

It will show you the percentage of all posts with that tag within the timeframe you choose, including

  • Text posts;
  • Replies;
  • Reposts;
  • Links and images.

Also, you’ll get an overview of the potential reach and impressions. You’ll see which accounts contributed the most to the hashtag and their average following.

TweetBinder offers a visual representation of sentiment stats and engagement as well. It can be valuable for defining gaps in your strategy.

Final Words

Try not to neglect third-party tools for Twitter (X) analysis. Yes, X has its own strong search and analytics capabilities. However, sometimes they might not be enough.

TweetReach has been a popular tool for some time. It allowed you to measure your reach and track the performance of your posts.

It’s no longer available, so we recommend you try some of the other alternatives we described. Learn more about their features and decide which one fits your needs better.

Radian6 is one of the most popular social media tools the enterprises are using for years. You must have heard about this tool while searching for best social monitoring tools on the internet. But you might be confused between deciding whether you should use this tool for your organization or not.

That’s the question that many people ask before buying this tool. In today’s article, we’ll highlight some important information about Radian6. And we’ll also share some valuable tips about how you can use this tool for your enterprise. And don’t worry because we’ll be highlighting the negative aspects of this tool as well. We assure you that you’d be able to make an informed decision by the end of this article.

There are plenty of social monitoring tools serving organizations at different levels. And these tools are struggling a lot to build a reputation in the industry. But Radian didn’t have to go through the struggle as it entered the industry when there were only a few players.

Radian6 is a social listening tool that is dedicated to listen, analyze and engage information being shared publicly online. Radian6 is an online tool under the Salesforce brand, and AllFamous Digital is the authorized reseller of this program in the ASEAN Region.

Iggy Gan, afdigital

Moreover, they focused on providing the best reports to the customers. These are the two major elements that made it popular among other social monitoring tools. Another reason why they became so popular is that they took help from popular social media influencers to promote their services. The most important thing about Radian6 is that it started targeting big enterprises when there was no one else in the game.

How Radian6 can help you?

Now, let’s take a look at how this tool will change the overall performance of your organization.

Monitoring multiple social platforms

The organizations usually look for the targeted audience on popular social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. But they rarely think of targeting platforms like Pinterest, Reddit, and Tumblr while these platforms have their own importance. Similarly, there are plenty of other social platforms you might have never heard of.

That’s why you should start using a social media tool that can bring you reports from all the important platforms. In this situation, Radian6 can accommodate your needs more effectively as they have a huge database. Also, they are using advanced algorithms that can bring the most accurate reports in real-time.

Monitor Blogs

Now, this is something you’d find in only a few social monitoring tools. This feature makes you feel relaxed and comfortable as it will keep you informed if someone’s discussing your brand anywhere on the internet. We can say that Radian6 is designed to offer an extreme level of satisfaction to the social media manager.

Not just that, it also monitors the comments that are published under different blogs and even social media posts. So, it keeps you aware of everything that’s happening on the web related to your industry.

Assign Comments to your employees

The best feature of this tool is that you can easily assign different comments to your teams with just a few clicks. It will help with providing a better response to the customers. And it will also improve the performance of your team over time.

What we didn’t like about Radian6?

Well, the pricing plans for this tool are really expensive. Although they’re offering excellent social monitoring services, we believe they should reduce the price a little bit. Secondly, they haven’t yet developed a smartphone app for their users. It means you’d have to open your laptop every time you want to check a notification. The company might lose several customers if they didn’t address these two issues on time.

Want to bring your Twitter marketing to the next level?

You should consider using Twazzup today. You’d be surprised to know that the Twitter search results you can get with this tool are far more accurate than the internal search engine of Twitter.

Twitter is not just about publishing tweets and following relevant people. It can bring you more effective results when you engage with the users at the right time. Fortunately, you can now find engagement opportunities with Twazzup within a few seconds.

This tool can offer you a better experience when you’re trying to promote your brand on Twitter. Here are the reasons why we recommend using Twazzup for your business growth on Twitter.

Real-time Updates

The best thing about this tool is that it enables you to stay aware of the changes that are taking place in your industry in real-time. You won’t have to press the refresh button time and again to find the new tweets. This tool automatically updates the new tweets with its scrolling feature. The new tweets keep appearing on the screen whenever someone publishes a tweet with your target keyword.

The speed of the scroll is usually slow which enables you to read the entire tweet. However, if you’re targeting a hot topic, you’d have to reduce the speed of the scroll otherwise, you’d miss a lot of opportunities. You can easily reduce the speed by pressing the button that appears at the bottom of the scroll section.

Popular Tweets

Twitter’s internal search can also show you the popular tweets about a specific keyword. But the special thing about Twazzup is that it shows you the tweets that have the potential to get popular over the next few minutes. So, you can engage with the people under that tweet to spread your voice to as many people as possible.

We strongly recommend this feature for the business that are willing to find networking opportunities and marketing exposure on Twitter. In fact, you can also use this opportunity to increase the word of mouth traffic.

Find Photos in Real-time

Twitter’s internal search displays a mix of text and visuals when you search for a specific keyword. But Twazzup displays the relevant images separately. And these images keep updating as new tweets are published with the relevant images. So, you can engage with those people to improve your brand awareness.

Ten Keywords Associated with Your Search

Now, here comes the reason why bloggers and businesses consider using Twazzup for their business. This feature suggests ten relevant keywords based on the keyword you’ve searched for. You can use these suggestions to find tweets that are related to your industry. And you can also use them when you’re choosing hashtags for a post. Thus, your message would be heard at a larger scale.

Most Popular Links

If you’re looking for viral marketing opportunities, the most popular links can be the right option for you. With Twazzup, you can explore the most popular links in real-time. When you publish these links on Twitter, you’d get more retweets from the people. And your brand will become popular among people who aren’t yet aware of your brand.
